The Leader of the Opposition (LOP) and Congress MP Rahul Gandhi in the Lok Sabha will pass through more than 20 districts by covering a distance of 1,300 km across Bihar across Bihar. Voter Adhikar Yatra is a campaign against alleged irregularities in raising awareness about voter rights by Rahul Gandhi and other India block leaders and alleged vote theft and special intensive revision of voter list (SIR).

In a social media post on X, Rahul Gandhi wrote, “16 days, 20+ districts, 1,300+ kilometers. We are coming among people with voter rights journey. According to the program shared by the Congress MP itself, the ‘Vote Rights Yatra’ will begin on August 17 from Sasaram district of the state and end on 1 September in the state capital Patna.
On August 17, the yatra will start from Sasaram, Dehri on Son, Rohtas, while on August 18, the journey will continue in Kutumba, Aurangabad, Dev and Guraru. Rahul Gandhi and other Grand Alliance leaders will go to Barbiga via Punama Wazirganj, Gaya to Barbiga on August 19. On August 21, the leaders will go to Munger via three Mohini Durga Temple, Sheikhpura to Sikandra, Jamui and on 22 August they will go to Bhagalpur via Chandan Bagh Chowk, Munger to Sultanganj.
The campaign will be covered on 2 and 3 August from Bari, Kurseli to Koha and Katihar to Purnia, while on August 24, Khushkibagh, Purnia to Chandni Chowk, Araria to Narpatganj. On 26 August, the journey will be taken out from Hussain Chowk, Supaul to Phulparas, Sakri, Madhubani via Darbhanga and Gangwara Mahavir Sthan on 27 August, Darbhanga to Muzaffarpur to Sitamarhi. The leaders of the Lok Sabha, along with the leaders of India Block, will visit from Riga Road, Sitamarhi to Motihari to West Champaran on August 28. On August 29, he is scheduled to go from Bettiah, West Champaran to Siwan via Gopalganj.
30 August is dedicated to Chhapra, Saran and Ara, Bhojpur. The “break day” has been declared on 20 August, 25 August and 31 August. Prior to the ‘Voter Adhikar Yatra’, Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) leader Tejashwi Yadav said that the purpose of this visit is to raise awareness among voters, especially those whose names are out of the voter list. Talking to reporters in Patna, Leader of Opposition in Bihar (LOP) Yadav described the visit as a “historic journey” and expressed confidence that the Grand Alliance would receive the “blessings” of the people of Bihar.
