The National Investigation Agency (NIA) has filed a charge sheet against an accused associated with the Khalistani terrorist organization Babbar Khalsa International (BKI) in the case of a grenade attack on Amritsar police post. The officials gave this information on Thursday.

Officials said that Bagga Singh alias Rinku, a resident of Sirsa, Haryana, has been charged under various sections of the illegal activities (prevention) Act, Indian Justice and Explosive Materials Act in a charge sheet filed in a court in Mohali on Wednesday.

According to the findings of the NIA, Rinku, along with co-accused Mandeep Singh alias Mecca, attacked Gumtala police post in Amritsar district in January this year with a grenade.
