Kim Yo Jong, the influential sister of North Korea leader Kim Jong Un, rejected South Korea’s claim on Thursday that North Korea had removed some of her loudspeakers from the Inter-Korian border.
Kim Yo Jong made fun of the Seoul government, saying that she is still expecting diplomatic dialogue between the two countries divided by the war. The South Korean army said in the weekend that it had seen North Korea removing some loudspeakers.
A few days before this, South Korea had removed its loudspeakers on the border in an attempt to reduce tension. These loudspeakers were previously used to transmit anti -North Korea anti -North Korea to broadcast.
Kim Yo Jong reiterated the earlier North Korea’s statements that Pyongyang’s long -halted conversation with the US and South Korea is not currently interested in resuming a long -standing conversation.
He cited the upcoming joint military exercise between Washington and Seoul for this, which North Korea sees as an enmity towards his. Asked about Kim’s statement, Colonel Lee Sung June, a spokesman of Joint Chief of Staff of South Korea, said that the army confirmed the removal of some loudspeakers from North Korea and warned that the statements of North Korea with political purpose should not be taken seriously.
