On the visit of External Affairs Minister Dr. S Jaishankar to Russia, Foreign Ministry spokesman Randhir Jaiswal said that External Affairs Minister Dr. S Jaishankar is expected to go to Moscow for the 26th session of the Indo-Russia Inter-Government Commission on business, economic, technical and cultural cooperation. This is going to happen later this month. Let us tell you that Jaishankar will visit Moscow on August 21 and will hold talks with the country’s Foreign Minister Sergei Lavarov. The Russian Foreign Ministry said in a brief statement that the two ministers would discuss major aspects of cooperation within the international structure of our bilateral agenda.

By the end of the year, Russian leader Vladimir Putin is also expected to come to India, which will be his first visit to India since he started a full invasion of Ukraine in 2022, causing diplomatic isolation in the world. Later this month, Prime Minister Narendra Modi will also visit China to attend the Shanghai Cooperation Sangathan (SCO) summit. Putin is also expected to attend this summit.
