On the third day of the monsoon session of the Uttar Pradesh Legislative Assembly, the ‘Banke Bihari Temple Trust Bill’ was introduced and passed. It aims to institutionalize the management of the historic temple and preserve its centuries -old traditions. The government says that the new trust will ensure world-class facilities for devotees, protecting the traditions established by Sant-Swami Haridas. Apart from the Bill, on August 13, at 11 am, a 24 -hour discussion started on ‘Developed India, Developed Uttar Pradesh’ Vision Document 2047, in which the government is presenting details of departmental achievements and vision plans, while the opposition is constantly questioning.

All offer and assets will be under the control of the trust
Statues and property in the temple premises
Gifts and offerings given to gods
Assets provided for any rituals, ceremonies, religious events
Monetary donation- Whether sent by cash, check, demand draft, or postal or telegraph
Jewelry, grant, contribution and hunds
In short, all movable and immovable properties of Shri Banke Bihari Ji Temple will be considered under the management of the trust.

The traditions of Swami Haridas will continue unchanged
The Bill emphasizes that this trust has been formed to pursue the traditions launched by Swami Haridas, which is credited with the establishment of devotional traditions of the temple. All customs, festivals and rituals will continue without any interference or change.

Once the formation is formed, the Banke Bihari Temple Trust will develop world class facilities for pilgrims, such as-
Systematic distribution
Separate darshan for senior citizens and disabled devotees
Drinking water facilities
Benches for comfort, easy access and queue management kiosk
Gaushalas, Community Dining Room (Annakshetra), Vishal Kitchen
Hotel, Guesthouse, Exhibition Hall, Restaurant and Waiting
Trust structure
The trust will have 11 nominated members and 7 ex -officio members.
