Let us tell you that in Shri Banke Bihari Temple Trust Bill, 2025, a provision has been made for the formation of a board of board, whose appointment of the trustees by the state government has been proposed. According to the bill, the board will consist of 11 nominated and seven ex -officio members.
According to the Bill, the designated members may include three eminent persons related to Vaishnava traditions, sects or backs, three eminent people (saints, saints, gurus, scholars, Mahants, Acharya, etc.) related to other traditions of Sanatan Dharma, other traditions, sects and backs. Apart from this, three such people related to any branch or sect of Sanatan Dharma can also be involved in it who are educationists, scholars, entrepreneurs, social workers etc. In the temple, two such members will be nominated from the Savayat Goswami tradition who are descendants of Swami Shri Haridas ji.

The Bill provides that the District Magistrate of Mathura, Senior Superintendent of Police, Municipal Commissioner, Chief Executive Officer of Uttar Pradesh Braj Tirtha Vikas Parishad, an officer of the Charitable Department, Government of Uttar Pradesh, Shri Banke Bihari Ji, Chief Executive Officer of Temple Trust and the State Government to fulfill the objectives of the trust by the State Government will be the members of the board.
Highlighting the purpose and reasons of the proposed bill by Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, it was said that Shri Banke Bihari Temple located in Vrindavan Nagar of Mathura district is an ancient and world famous temple where a large number of devotees and tourists come every year. The temple is spread over about 870 square meters, of which about 365 square meters are used as a sightseeing courtyard. It said that it has been decided to form a trust called ‘Shri Banke Bihari Ji Temple Trust’ for the all -round development of the temple area including Titha Yatra, religious, cultural, spiritual and establishment aspects. It has been clarified that the State Legislature was not in the session and it was necessary to take legislative steps immediately for this task, so the Governor issued Uttar Pradesh Shri Banke Bihari Ji Temple Recitation, 2025 on 26 May 2025. This bill has been introduced to replace that ordinance itself. Apart from this, Uttar Pradesh Fiscal Responsibility and Budget Management (Amendment) Bill, 2025 and State Public Service Commission (Regulation of Procedure) (Amendment) Bill, 2025 were introduced.
