When elections are held from secret voting, the so -called Chanakya will be completely defeated, Kapil Sibal’s taunted on Amit Shah

Rajya Sabha MP and senior leader Kapil Sibal on Wednesday targeted Union Home Minister Amit Shah. He lashed out at Shah over the victory of Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) MP Rajiv Pratap Rudy in the recently conception Club of India (CCI) elections. He posted on X that when elections are held by secret voting, the so -called Chanakya is easily defeated. In Bihar, if the election is fair, Chanakya will lose again.

Rudy retained his position as Secretary (Administration), the Constitution Club of India, despite facing an anti -incumbency wave and defeated his fellow party member Sanjeev Balyan, who got only 290 votes. In the midst of the celebration, BJP MP Rajiv Pratap Rudy credited his victory to his panel and said that I would have won by more than 100 votes. And if it is multiplied by 1000 voters, then this number becomes 1 lakh. This is the victory of my panel. Everyone got up from their party and cast their vote. My panel consisted of Congress, SP, TMC and Independent MPs. I got the result of my efforts of the last two decades.

This has happened at a time when BJP MP Nishikant Dubey was expecting a change in the post of secretary and clearly wanted to win Balyan in the Constitution Club election. Nishikant Dubey had told reporters earlier, “I think there will be change and Dr. Sanjeev Balyan will be the new secretary … Rajiv Pratap Rudy is my old friend.” Data from the 11 -member body suggests that the opposition dominates the Constitution Club elections, and most of the positions are occupied by members of the India Block. In this election, Congress and other India block parties were part of Rudy’s panel against Sanjeev Balyan.

Apart from this, Congress MP Devendra Singh Hooda and Samajwadi Party (SP) MP Akshay Yadav have also positioned in the Governing Council of the Constitution Club along with BJP’s Naveen Jindal and Pradeep Gandhi. Significantly, Rudy had the support of Revolutionary Socialist Party (RSP) MP NK Premchandran, who won the election. Top leaders of both the ruling and opposition parties cast their votes in the Constitution Club elections.
