Senior Advocate Abhishek Manu Singhvi, who is representing the petitioners, accused the Election Commission of India (ECI) of overturning his stand on citizenship evidence. Singhvi said that ECI has completely overturned on citizenship proof. Somebody has to become an objectioner and say that such a person is not a citizen.
The Supreme Court on Wednesday described the special intensive revision (SIR) of the voter list in Bihar as “voter-friendly” and emphasized the expansion in the number of acceptable identity documents and dismissed the concerns of not including Aadhaar. The court also investigated whether the calculation form which covers the statutory form can be considered contradictory or more inclusive. The bench asked that if a calculation form takes the statutory form under its purview, will it be violated or more inclusive compliance?

He stressed that under Form 6, there is a valid document for Aadhaar enrollment. He further said that this notion has completely reversed. They say that all of you will be excluded until you can prove anything else. “He warned that” all those enrolled after 2003-2025, until they could prove, will be excluded.
