He said that I had no choice but to stay in another hotel in Sector 49, away from the arena. He further said that he had earlier booked the hotel of Sector 44 due to being close to the skating rink, where registrations were to start from Wednesday morning.

Oyo has apologized for the incident and said that the hotel, Meera Iternity, was removed from her platform on the same day. Oyo further said that an internal investigation has also been ordered. Oyo said in a statement to Times of India, “Oyo has neither received any instructions to impose such restrictions on hotels nor has it issued any such instruction. We do not support any discrimination.
