Gaza got great relief! Israel yesterday sent 320 humanitarian aid trucks and three United Nations fuel tankers to Gaza Strip. The emergency supply reached through Karem Shalom and Zikim Crossing, giving energy to the essential systems in Gaza.

Coordinator of Israel’s regional government activities (COGAT) said that about 320 trucks loaded with human help entered Gaza via Krem Shalom and Zikim Crossing yesterday. The United Nations and other support groups collected these consignments from inside Gaza for distribution. Cogat also stated that three United Nations fuel tankers entered the strip to provide energy to essential human systems and coordinated the movement of support personnel coming and going in Gaza.

Earlier, a reporter and others from Al Jazeera were killed in an airstrike by the Israeli army in Gaza. Both Israel and Gaza city hospital officials, both confirmed the death of Al-Sharif and his associates. At the same time, ‘Committee to Protect Journalist’ and others called it a vengeance against those who document the war in Gaza. The Israeli army claimed that Al-Sharif was leading a cell of Hamas. However, this is an allegation that was rejected by Al Jazeera and Al-Sherif earlier as baseless.

Australian Prime Minister Anthony Albanese said that his country would recognize Palestine as a nation. Along with this, he has joined the queue of leaders of France, Britain and Canada, who have indicated that they will also do so. His comment came at a time when he was appealing to recognize Palestine within his cabinet and from many parts of Australia and was also increasing criticism for the pain and starvation of the people in Gaza. Albanese described the situation of Gaza as human destruction on Monday.
