On the one hand, China has a very strong effort to strengthen trade with India. The US should be responded to and Russia, India, China alliance should again focus the whole world as a big alliance. On the other hand, China’s efforts are that India repeatedly forces India to think about what China wants friendship or enmity? We have once again stood at this crossroads. There is a conversation with China about business which is going to happen at a time. That too at a time when the US is continuously announced by the US and the pressure on Russia is also increasing. On the other hand, there are projects made under China’s expansionist policy that can again create an instability situation.

The news is coming that China is now going to stir the India China border with a new project. China released a plan to work on Xinjiang and Tibet rail networks. On this, an entire railway network will be created from Shinjiang to Tibet on a large scale. It will be very close to the Indian border. According to a report by South China Morning Post in Hong Kong, work on this project is expected to begin this year. For this, China has formed a new company “Shinjiang-Tibet Railway Company” (XTRC). It has been given an initial capital of about 1.10 lakh crore rupees. This rail project is one of China’s largest and strategic infrastructure projects. Its purpose is to prepare a 5 thousand km long railway network by making Lhasa a center by 2035.

Since the inauguration of the railway until Tibet in 2006, two more lines have been built; Lhasa-Shaigatse Rail in 2014 and Lhasa-Nyingchi Line in 2021. Rail construction on India’s borders has become even more notable, as the Lhasa-Nyingchi railroad leads to the border of Arunachal Pradesh in the southeast, and is further expanding it to Chengdu in the east, which is a major military center of western China. Beijing’s plans also include the land port on the Nepal-Tibetan border and pursuing the rail route to the Yadong County in the Kitmbi Valley on the Indo-China-China Tri-Sandhi. This is the same sensitive place where there was a military deadlock in Doklam over China’s road construction in 2017.
Beijing is now laying rail tracks in Tibet and even inside. It is not only a matter of Chinese dams near the border of India, but also rail tracks. Along with the eastern region of India, Chinese Rail is about to reach the northern border of India, which is equally sensitive and will be a matter of concern for India. China is preparing to create its most ambitious rail connectivity ever. This railway line will connect its northwest Xinjiang province, which is the stronghold of Uygars, to Tibet. According to a report by South China Morning Post, parts of this project originally employed in 2008 will pass along the Line of Actual Control (LAC) with India.
