Congress leader Rahul Gandhi has accused the Modi government of ignoring the tribals. He said that the Central Government is not implementing the Forest Rights Act properly, due to which millions of tribal families are in danger of eviction from their land.

On Tuesday, Rahul Gandhi wrote on social media that the Congress government enacted this law in 2006 so that the tribals get rights on their water, forest and land. But due to the negligence of the Modi government, many tribals were dismissed without investigating their land.

In fact, in 2019, the Supreme Court had ordered that people whose claims of the Forest Rights Act have been rejected, should be removed from the ground. There was a protest against this decision across the country, then the court stopped eviction and asked the government to re -investigate the dismissal claims.

Hearing again in Supreme Court on 2 April On the investigation of the claims of tribals being under the Forest Rights Act, there will be a hearing in the Supreme Court on April 2. On this matter, Rahul Gandhi said that even in 2019, the Modi government was not able to protect the rights of tribals and still silence is sitting in this matter.
