Actually, Mahayagya is to be organized in Chechhai village from 9 to 17 April. Therefore, 50-60 women of the village had gone out of 7 villages to demand alms. Out of these, 11 women were walking in line with urns on their heads.
While passing through Chhatrabar village, some people from other communities threw stones from the roof. This damaged the urns placed on the heads of women.
The women immediately informed the people of their village from mobile phone. The villagers of Chechhai reached the spot. This made the atmosphere tense. Koderma police also reached as soon as the information was received. The police evacuated the women safely and removed the crowd.

After the incident, people of both villages gathered at the main square of Chhatbar. SDPO Anil Kumar Singh, Headquarters DSP Ratibhan Singh and all the police station in -charge of the district reached the spot.
The police dispersed the crowd and started a search operation in the village. A heavy police force has been deployed in the village to control the situation. Drone is being monitored.
