Attempted attempt to infiltrate Kathua in Jammu and Kashmir failed, Pakistan is crossing the border BSF shot

A Pakistani intruder was arrested on Monday after a firing by Border Security Force (BSF) personnel on suspected activity near the international border in Kathua district of Jammu and Kashmir. Officials said that the person was part of a group trying to enter the Indian territory by taking advantage of the darkness. Officials said that at around 4 pm, a vigilant soldiers saw the intruders and asked them to stop. He said that the intruders did not pay attention to repeated warnings, after which BSF personnel stationed at advance posts started firing, injuring an intruder.

Officials said the injured intruders were arrested and immediately rushed to the hospital for treatment. He further said that the motive behind his identity and his failed attempt to infiltrate this side is the subject of further investigation. Last month, the BSF designed a first “drone squadron” for deployment along the India-Pakistan border. Also, after the lesson learned from Operation Sindoor, it has begun to strengthen its safety and posts against deadly UAV attacks. Official sources in the security establishment said that this squadron, posted on the specific border posts (BOP) on this front, will include reconnaissance, monitoring and attacking drones or unmanned air vehicles (UAVs) and specially trained personnel capable of operating these machines.

Sources said that this squadron will be operated by a control room located at the Western Command Headquarters of BSF in Chandigarh. The main function of BSF is to protect the India-Pakistan International Border. After the recent review of the powers, weaknesses and dangers of the force after Operation Sindoor, it was decided to form this unit.
