Vance said in an interview to Fox News that the President has said that he is thinking about it, but he has not taken any concrete decision yet. In response to the question, the Vice President made the comment whether Trump would impose a fee on China on purchasing Russian oil like India. Last Wednesday, the US President announced to double the fees on India to 50% on the purchase of Russian oil.

The US Vice President also spoke on the upcoming meeting between President Trump and Russian President Vladimir Putin and said that no compromise is likely to satisfy any party from the negotiations between Russia and Ukraine. He further said that both Moscow and Kiev would be unhappy with any peace agreement. Vance said that no one would be very happy with this. Both Russian and Ukrainian, perhaps, will eventually be unhappy with it.
