Air India Dreamliner aircraft will change important parts

Air India said in a statement on Sunday, a second aircraft is scheduled to leave for the same plant in October 2025 and both are expected to return to service in December 2025.

Air India said on Sunday that it would change its 26 old B787-8 Dreamliner aircraft electronic devices and other important parts to reduce operating disruptions. In recent times, the airline has faced operational problems in some of its aircraft including Dreamliner.

Air India’s Dreamliner aircraft were examined, including an investigation into the fuel switch. The Tata Group -owned airline has earlier began renewing the Legacy Dreamliner, which was sent to a plant in Boeing in Victorville, California in July 2025.

Air India said in a statement on Sunday, a second aircraft is scheduled to leave for the same plant in October 2025 and both are expected to return to service in December 2025.
