More than 200 people were arrested on Saturday for deliberately violating the law to pressurize the government to reconsider the ban imposed on the pro -Palestine group in Britain.
In early July, Parliament passed a law to ban a group called ‘Palestine Action’. The ban was imposed because the group workers allegedly entered the UK Air Force base and damaged two aircraft.
Activists are protesting against Britain to support Israel’s attacks against Hamas in Gaza. Supporters of the group say that the freedom of expression has been banned illegally under this law.
More than 500 protesters gathered outside the Parliament House on Saturday, and several protesters challenged the police to arrest them, after which the police took action.
The protesters took posters in their hands on which it was written, “I oppose the massacre. I support Palestine Action.” Meanwhile, the police arrested more than 200 people.
