US President Donald Trump indicated that his deputy JD Vance would be his successor in the 2028 presidential elections. He made this comment when he was asked who would be his ‘successor’ for the Great America movement. According to the CNN report, Trump said that I think this is most likely… to be honest, he is the Vice President. In addition, the US President also praised US Secretary of State Marco Rubio and said that he would play an important role in the Republican Party in future.

CNN quoted Trump as saying that I think Marco is also a person who can probably meet JD in some form or the other. I also feel that we have incredible people, some people present on the stage here. However, there is still time in the 2028 US presidential elections, both Vance and Rubio were considered to be Trump’s successor. Nevertheless, Trump’s statement is quite important as the US President has considerable influence in the Republican Party. If he supports someone, it matters a lot. It is important to state here that Trump will not be able to participate in the 2028 US elections due to constitutional norms.

Interestingly, Rubio himself indicated that Vance could lead the Republican party in the 2028 elections. Talking to Fox News last month, the Foreign Minister described Vance as a great candidate for 2028 and said that he was doing a great job as the Vice President of the United States. Rubio, who is the first to serve as a National Security Advisor and Foreign Minister in the US after Henry Kisser, said, “I think JD Vance will be a great candidate. If he decides to do so. He is my close friend, and I hope that he intends to do so.
