Three killed, another injured in road accidents in Bareilly

In Bareilly district, three people, including a kanwadi, were killed in two separate road accidents, while a young man was seriously injured. The police gave this information on Monday.

According to Anurag Arya, Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) of Bareilly, 42-year-old Dharmesh Kumar of Champatpur village on Amla-Ramnagarway on Sunday returned from Kachla Ghat with a group and returned from Kachla Ghat. He stayed for a while in Bhandare outside the village, at the same time a high speed bike hit him.

Dharmesh was seriously injured in this accident. The family was taking him to Bareilly Hospital, but he died on the way. According to Arya, two motorcycles collided face to face near Karbala on Sethl-Hafizganj road in Hafizganj police station area. Police reached the hospital, but by then two people had died.

According to the SSP, the deceased have been identified as Zeeshan (24), resident of Ladpur Osmanpur village in Hafizganj and Azim (22), a resident of Sethl. Azim’s partner Faizan (25) is seriously injured and is undergoing treatment at the hospital. Arya said that the police have sent the dead bodies for postmortem and started advance action in the case.
