US President Donald Trump said that he would increase the tariffs given by India to the US. He cited India allegedly selling it again on the continuous purchase of Russian oil and profit in the global market. In a post on social media, Trump ignored India of earning huge profits from huge discounts in Russian crude oil prices, ignoring the ongoing war in Ukraine. He wrote, India is not only buying a large amount of Russian oil, but is also selling a large part of the bought oil on a huge profit in the open market. He further said that he does not care about how many people are being killed by Russian war machines in Ukraine. Because of this, I will greatly increase the tariff given by India to America.
