Operation Akhal of security forces continues, 6 dreaded terrorists killed so far, a soldier also injured

The ‘Operation Akhal’ of the security forces continues and three more terrorists have been killed on the third day. Along with this, a total of six terrorists have been killed in this campaign so far. The operation, which is one of the biggest anti-terrorism campaigns being carried out in Jammu and Kashmir, has been launched after ‘Operation Mahadev’ and ‘Operation Shiv Shakti’.
About operation
The encounter between militants and security forces (a joint team of Jammu and Kashmir Police, Army and CRPF) is still going on in Akhhal forest area of Kulgam district of South Kashmir. The sounds of firing and blasts were heard throughout the night. Based on intelligence information, on Friday, security forces launched a siege and search operation in the forests of Akhal. The terrorists hiding in the forest started firing on the security forces, after which the encounter started. During this time a soldier has also been injured.

Terrorist killed
Earlier, on Saturday, three militants were killed by security forces. According to officials, these terrorists belonged to The Resistance Front (TRF) associated with the banned organization Lashkar-e-Taiba (Let). TRF took responsibility for the Pahalgam terror attack, in which 26 civilians died. High -tech monitoring systems and specific paramilitary forces are being used in this operation. The DGP and 15 core commanders themselves are keeping a close watch on the situation.
