Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath on Saturday greeted Prime Minister Narendra Modi during his visit to Varanasi. During this, the Prime Minister founded and inaugurated several development projects worth about Rs 2,200 crore. Addressing the occasion, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath appreciated the leadership of Prime Minister Modi and said that Prime Minister Narendra Modi has reached Kashi at a time when the world has seen India’s strength and determination through Operation Sindoor. This is a new India, which has both ability and courage to punish the culprits of Pahalgam attack.

Referring to the Military Campaign Operation Sindoor in response to the Pahalgam terror attack, Adityanath said, “In this new India, the culprits of terror have the courage to lick dust and enter the boundary of enemies and wipe out them.” He said, “After the success of Operation Sindoor, Prime Minister Modi has come to Kashi today. On behalf of the people of Uttar Pradesh, I welcome and greet the Prime Minister. Chief Minister Adityanath said that the world has realized the power and strength of India through Operation Sindoor. He said that the new India has the alcohol to mix the criminals of Pahalgam and enter the enemy’s house.
The Chief Minister said, “Prime Minister Modi is the most popular politician in the world. In the last 11 years, more than four dozen countries have given him their highest civilian honor. The world considers his foresight for public welfare and world welfare. Ghana, Trinidad-Tobago, Namibia, Brazil have raised the pride of 140 crore Indians by giving Prime Minister Modi the highest civilian honor in July.
On the 51st tour of his Lok Sabha constituency Varanasi, Prime Minister Modi inaugurated the railway overbridge at Hardatpur to reduce the congestion on the Mohan Sarai-Alapura road along with the widening and strengthening of the Varanasi-Bhadohi Marg and Chitouni-Shul Tankeshwar Marg. He laid the foundation stone of wide road widening and strengthening in many villagers and urban corridors including Dalmandi, Lahartara-Kotwa, Gangapur, Babatpur and the foundation of railway overbridge on level crossings 22C and Khalispur yard.

Strengthening the infrastructure of electricity in the region, the Prime Minister laid the foundation stone for various works under the Smart Distribution Project and underground the infrastructure of electricity costing more than Rs 880 crore. To promote tourism, the Prime Minister inaugurated the redevelopment of eight raw ghats located on the river bank, development works in Kalika Dham, beautification of ponds and ghats in Rangiladas Kutia in Shivpur and renovation of Durgakund and renovation and water treatment works.
