US President Donald Trump has drastically cut the deadline fixed with Russia for a peace agreement with Ukraine. Trump announced that Russian President Vladimir Putin now had only “10 or 12 days” left to reach the agreement, less than the earlier 50 -day deadline. Trump said that we do not see any progress and at the same time he also said that there is no meaning to wait. The announcement was made during his speech before his meeting with British Prime Minister Kir Starmer in Scotland.

Disappointed with Putin: Trump

Trump expressed his disappointment on the ongoing struggle and no progress towards the fighting and said that I am disappointed with President Putin. I am reducing the 50 days I gave them because I think I already know what is going to happen next. Two weeks ago, Trump said that he would give 50 days to Russia and Ukraine to compromise to end the war. Now, he is citing suspicion on Putin’s intentions, saying that he would “reduce” that time.
