Amid the slogans of opposition MPs, the Rajya Sabha was adjourned for the day and there will be a meeting again to discuss Operation Sindoor at 11 am on Tuesday. After being postponed twice, the proceedings of the Upper House began at 2 am, but the opposition remained the same deadlock again due to slogans against the special intensive revision (SIR) of the voter list in Bihar Bihar. Before the House was postponed, the opposition MPs raised slogans of “Stop Vote Stop”.

The House will hold a meeting again on Tuesday to discuss Operation Sindoor for 16 hours. According to sources, Rajnath Singh and S Jaishankar will be among the ministers who will participate in the discussion in the Rajya Sabha. Prime Minister Modi is also expected to intervene in the discussion. The largest opposition party Congress has been given about two hours to discuss. Party President Mallikarjun Kharge will start a debate for him. Meanwhile, after being postponed three times a day, the discussion on Operation Sindoor in the Lok Sabha has finally begun.
Defense Minister Rajnath Singh started the discussion and described this military campaign launched by the Indian Armed Forces as historic. Singh paid tribute to the soldiers who are always ready to sacrifice their lives for the country. Singh said in his address to the Lok Sabha that Parliament is ready to discuss Operation Sindoor. First of all, I want to express gratitude to the brave soldiers from Parliament who have sacrificed the country when needed.

He stressed that India’s policy was a “decisive and effective demonstration” against Sindoor terrorism. Rajnath Singh said that on 6 and 7 May, the Indian Armed Forces started Operation Sindoor, which is historic. Operation Sindoor was not just a military campaign, but a decisive and effective performance of our policy against terrorism. It also shows India’s sovereignty, its identity and our commitment to our responsibility towards the citizens of the country.
