The accused has been identified as Gurminder Singh alias Sonu. The village is a resident of Parajiya Biharipur. He used to supply opium in the villages of Sidhwan Bet in Punjab. According to ASI Sukhmandar Singh, in -charge of Outpost Giddadwindi, he received information that Gurminder Singh is supplying opium from outside states and supplying it in the area.
Father of two children is accused
Police blocked the Parajia Biharipur to Abbupura route. The accused was arrested after seeing walking on foot. In the search, 400 grams of opium was recovered from the accused in a black envelope. According to the police, no case has been registered before the accused. He is the father of two children.
Smuggled on a large scale by escaping from the eyes of the police
During interrogation, the accused said that the expenses of the house were not running due to inflation. No work was found even after much effort. Therefore, he started selling cheap opium from Haryana by raising money from here and there. But till date the police had not come in the eyes, taking advantage of this, he started smuggling on a large scale.

The police have achieved two days remand by presenting the accused in court. Investigations are being ascertained how many times he has smuggled opium first and who is his customers. Police said that people whose names will be revealed in the investigation will also be included in the case.
