Actor Vijay’s bomb threats at Chennai’s residence made a lot of headlines this morning, but a quick police investigation led to just one rumor. The bomb disposal squad confirmed that no explosives were found in the campus, which breathed a sigh of relief by fans and locals.
Popular actor and Tamilga Vatri Kazhagam (TVK) president Vijay’s Chennai’s Nilakarai, East Coast Road (ECR), threatened a bomb threatening this morning. The authorities have confirmed this.
The Chennai Police Control Room received a call at around 5:20 am, claiming that the bomb was placed at the house of the actor-hero. As soon as the threat was received, three bomb disposal squad experts and a investigative dog were immediately sent to Vijay’s residence.
After a close search of about an hour, the bomb disposal squad confirmed that no explosives were found in the campus. The officials described the threat as a rumor and left the campus after completing their investigation. Nilakarai police station has registered a case in this regard and further investigation is on.
