A 26 -year -old woman alleged that she was gang -raped in a moving ambulance after fainting during the Home Guard recruitment examination in Bodh Gaya, Bihar. The incident allegedly occurred on 24 July when he was being taken to the hospital after being unconscious during the physical examination. According to the police, the woman claimed that many people assaulted her in a state of unconsciousness in the car. A case was registered at Bodh Gaya police station.

Just hours after the FIR was registered, the police arrested two suspect ambulance driver Vinay Kumar and technician Ajit Kumar in the car. Although both are currently in custody and interrogation is going on, Gaya police described this action quickly and immediately. Officials have confirmed that the surrounding CCTV footage has helped in confirming the path and time of the ambulance, which has found significant evidence in the ongoing investigation. The forensic team will soon present their preliminary report.
According to the police complaint, the woman said that she fainted during physical examination and came to the hospital as partly. He later told police and hospital staff that three-four people sexually assaulted him in the ambulance. After this incident, concerns about law and order in the state have increased again. Union Minister and Lok Janshakti Party (Ram Vilas) chief Chirag Paswan said, “The way crimes are happening in Bihar, the administration has completely bowed down to the criminals.”

Paswan further said, “This incident is condemnable – but the real question is why such crimes are happening again and again? A series of crimes is going on. If this continues, the situation will be frightening – in fact, it has already happened.” He admitted that some people may consider it a conspiracy to discredit the government before the election, but they also said that it is the duty of the administration to maintain law and order.
