Landslide on Vaishno Devi Marg in Reasi, Jammu and Kashmir, four pilgrims injured

On Monday, landslides occurred on the old route to visit Vaishno Devi temple in Reasi district of Jammu and Kashmir, injuring at least four pilgrims. The officers provided this information.

Officials said the landslide was caused by heavy rains in Katra city. This landslide took place at Gulshan’s anchor near Banganga at around 8.50 am. This is the starting point of the journey.

Officials said the rescue operation was started immediately after the landslide and four trapped pilgrims were evacuated and taken to the hospital. The rescue operation was on till the final report was received.
