In the all -party meeting held just before the monsoon session of Parliament, the central government has accepted the major demands of the opposition. The opposition had demanded a discussion in Parliament on sensitive and important issues such as operation vermilion and ongoing struggles.
Union Minister Kiren Rijiju confirmed this and said that the government is fully prepared to discuss all these topics. He also called for better coordination between the government and the opposition to ensure the smooth operation of the House in this meeting convened before the session. Rijiju said, ‘We are fully prepared to discuss important issues like Operation Sindoor in Parliament. There should be coordination between the government and the opposition to run the Parliament smoothly.
The comment comes at a time when the opposition is preparing to arise in the House over the recent claim of US President Donald Trump, in which he spoke of ending enmity by mediation between India and Pakistan. Reacting to this issue, Rijiju clarified that the government will give appropriate answers on this subject in the House.
