AAP is not a part of India block, now Kejriwal will wave the soil of his special rival Congress?

The Aam Aadmi Party (AAP), headed by former Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal, officially split from the opposition Indian National Development Inclusive Alliance (India) on Friday. Senior party leader and Rajya Sabha MP Sanjay Singh said on Friday that you are no longer part of the opposition alliance and will not participate in the meeting of the alliance before the upcoming monsoon session of Parliament starting on Monday. Singh said that the India block was formed only for the 2024 Lok Sabha elections and the party has contested all the subsequent assembly elections independently. AAP and Congress fought the 2024 Lok Sabha elections under India Block in Delhi. However, both parties fought the Haryana and Delhi assembly elections alone.

The Rajya Sabha MP said that AAP has made his stand clear. India Block (2024) was for the Lok Sabha elections. We fought Delhi and Haryana assembly elections on our own. We will contest Bihar elections alone. We fought the by -elections in Punjab and Gujarat alone. You are not part of India. However, the AAP leader said that the party will maintain strategic alliance with opposition parties within Parliament. He said that on parliamentary issues, we take the support of opposition parties like Trinamool Congress and DMK. And they also take our support. We have always played the role of a strong and powerful opposition and will continue to play even further. Meanwhile, the AAP leader questioned the role of the Congress in leading the opposition faction.

This is not a children’s game. Did he hold a meeting after the Lok Sabha elections? Did there be any initiative to expand India block? Sometimes he criticizes Akhilesh Yadav, sometimes Uddhav Thackeray and sometimes Mamata Banerjee. India block should have united. The Congress is the largest party in the block. But did it play a role (in ensuring opposition unity)? The monsoon session lasting for a month of Parliament is scheduled to begin on July 21. Prior to the session, a meeting of leaders of India Block parties will be held online on Saturday evening to discuss the current political situation of the country. The meeting is taking place after a long gap, since the constituents of India Block had jointly discussed the political situation of the country.
