There were massive protests across the US against President Donald Trump’s exile such as deportation of immigrants and cuts for the poor. Protests took place at more than 1,600 places. These demonstrations have been named ‘Good Tribal Lives On’, dedicated to the late MP and human rights activist John Lewis. The organizers urged the people to keep the protests peaceful. Chicago was the main center of protests. In the afternoon, the protesters gathered at the center of the city. Candle Light March was taken out during the rally in Chicago.

Public Citizen Group organized protests
Lisa Gilbert, co-president of the Public Citizen Group, said on Tuesday that we are going through the most frightening time in the history of our country. We are facing increasing dictatorship and anarchy in the government, which is challenging our democratic freedom and rights. The Public Citizen Group is a non-profit organization (NGO) that works against large corporate houses. These performances will be specially held in Atlanta, St. Lewis, Okland (California) and Annapolis (Maryland).
John Lewis worked with Martin Luther
John Lewis died of cancer at the age of 80 in 2020. He was one of the “Big Six” leaders of the Civil Rights Movement led by Martin Luther King Jr. Lewis organized the ‘Bloody Sunday’ march in 1965, in which 600 people marched on Edmond Pettus Bridge in Alabama for voting rights. During this time the police attacked him. During this time the skull of Lewis broke. The incident played an important role in the passage of the 1965 Voting Rights Act.

Protest against Trump in Los Angeles
The situation became tense in the month of June in the world’s most beautiful and second largest city, Lance Agils. Curfew had to be imposed in downtown. The 23 show was looted in the room. Deployment of 2,000 National Guard’s deployment ended
Pentagon, headquarters of the US Ministry of Defense, announced that 2,000 soldiers of National Guard deployed in Los Angeles were being recalled to control the protests against the trump administration’s immigration policies. Los Angeles has been deployed in the Los Angeles since the beginning of June about 4,000 National Guard personnel and 700 ‘Marines’. Out of which it has been decided to reduce the number of soldiers, although it is not yet clear why the soldiers are being called back and how long the remaining soldiers will be stationed.
