Prior to the monsoon session of Parliament, Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge met Vice President Jagdeep Dhankhar on Tuesday and said the opposition wants a meaningful session. The monsoon session lasting for a month of Parliament is scheduled to begin on July 21. After the meeting, in a post on X, Kharge said that the opposition wants a meaningful session of Rajya Sabha from July 21. This requires many strategic, political, foreign policy and debate and discussion on socio-economic issues, which are a matter of great concern for the public.

Jaishankar said that the Indo-China bilateral relations have been continuously improving since the meeting of Prime Minister Modi and President Xi Chinfing in Kazan in October last year and also said that our relations can be normal to be normal for both countries.
