The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued a sudden flood warning to 19 districts of the state amidst estimated heavy rains in many parts of Jharkhand. In the morning bulletin of IMD, Gumla, Simdega, Lohardaga, Latehar, Khunti, Western Singhbhum, East Singhbhum, Saraikela, Ramgarh, Bokaro, Dhanbad, Garhwa, Palamu, Koderma, Giridih, Jamtara, Deogarh, Dumka and Ranchi districts have been released suddenly for a sudden flood warning for five o’clock on Wednesday evening.

The bulletin states that a ‘Orange’ alert has been issued in Garhwa, Palamu, Chatra, Latehar, Koderma and Hazaribagh from 8 am on Tuesday morning to 8.30 am on Wednesday. The Meteorological Department has issued a similar warning for Palamu, Chatra, Hazaribagh, Koderma and Giridih from July 16 to July 17 to 17 am.
