India’s most incremental and far -reaching film festival has returned once again! Jagran Film Festival (JFF) 2025, which is the world’s largest traveling film festival, has officially started invitations for entry.
In the last years, the film festival had more than 5000 entry out of 72 countries. Because of this, Jagran Film Festival (JFF) has become a global platform to present cinema talent. Every year, around 500 films are chosen through a difficult selection process and displayed in a 75 -day screening program.
This year JFF will be held in 14 cities in 8 states of India
The 2025 edition of the festival will start in Delhi on 4 September with a large grand opening ceremony. After this, this festival will travel to cities like Kanpur, Lucknow, Varanasi, Prayagraj, Hisar, Ludhiana, Ranchi, Patna, Meerut, Agra, Gorakhpur and Dehradun. Its closing ceremony will be in Mumbai from 13 to 16 November as a grand ceremony.
This festival accepts feature films, short films, documentary and student films from India and the world. All entry is evaluated by reputed experts in the industry, and the winners are honored at a grand award ceremony held in Mumbai.

Every influential story should be seen, heard and felt – in the cities, towns and cultures of the country, this year we are traveling in the 14 cities of the country, our aim is the same. And bringing closer, and preparing a platform for filmmakers that give them the opportunity to present their art to diverse and conscious audiences.
The Jagran Film Festival remains a historical festival due to its separate and unique traveling format and this attempt to bring cinema to all kinds of audiences that keeps filmmakers and cinematographers connected to each other through stories.
