Popular model and social media figure San Richal died of suicide in Puducherry on Sunday. The 26 -year -old model, who recently married and was known for her adventure against apartheid in the entertainment industry, died in Jawaharlal Institute of Postgraduate Medical Education and Research after two other hospitals were transferred from other hospitals.

Puducherry’s famous model San Richal won several titles like Miss Puducherry 2020, Miss Best Attitude 2019, Miss Dark Queen Tamil Nadu 2019 and Queen of Madras in 2022 and 2023. The police have received a suicide note from the spot in which they have not held anyone responsible for their death. San Richal pledged his jewelry for his work and he was also undergoing treatment due to kidney problem.
Police suspect that he may have taken this step due to heavy debt and stress. The Tehsildar has ordered an inquiry, as San was married last year. A suicide note has been recovered from the scene, which states that no one is responsible for his death. At the same time, investigators say that San Richal pledged his jewelry to raise money for his work.

Initial investigations show that financial constraints and personal stress would have played a role in this tragedy. Officials have revealed that Rachel had sold or mortgaged jewelry in recent months to raise funds for his professional goals. He had allegedly approached his father for financial assistance, but he expressed his inability to citing responsibilities towards his son.
A suicide note recovered by the police states that no one should be held responsible for his death.However, in view of her recent marriage, the authorities have ordered the Tehsildar level inquiry to find out whether marital problems have contributed to her mental state.
San Richal was not only famous for her modeling achievements, but she was also crowned Miss Puducherry in 2022. According to the Times of India report, he also used his platform to remove discrimination based on skin color. He often criticized the priority of fair skin in the industry and advocated inclusion, especially for women with black skin in Indian fashion and cinema.
