A 60 -year -old woman was shot dead on Saturday in Nalanda, a home district of Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar. An official gave this information. The deceased was working in a hospital in Patna and has been identified as Sushila Devi (60).

The incident took place in Dooia village under Nursarai police station at around 10 am on Saturday. Sushila Devi was returning from her farm during this time. Sadar-2 Sub-Divisional Police Officer (SDPO) Sanjay Kumar Jaiswal told reporters, according to the woman’s son, the attackers ambushed her and shot her in her head. He was immediately rushed to the nearest government hospital, where doctors declared him dead.
