The encounter with terrorists in Kathua, Jammu and Kashmir has become challenging for three days. According to the police, the security forces have surrounded the terrorists within a radius of 10 km. They are on the high hills of Jakhole, where there are thick forests and caves. The five terrorists are foreigners, but they have been dead for three days due to the help of some local people.
Security forces have detained 10 suspected helpers. These have said that the five terrorists are the same, who was stopped by the police in Sanial village near the International Border in Hiranagar sector on March 23. So far 2 terrorists have been killed in the encounter.

On March 28, Operation Group (SOG) jawans Tariq Ahmed, Jaswant Singh, Jagbir Singh and Balwinder Singh were killed by a bullet. At the same time, three soldiers including the injured DSP Dheeraj Singh are undergoing treatment. Deputy CM Surinder Chaudhary reached Jammu Medical College to know the condition of the injured policemen in the encounter.
According to sources, security forces were reported to be hiding about 5 terrorists. These terrorists are associated with Jaish-e-Mohammed’s proxy organization People’s Anti Fascist Front.

Police said- terrorists did not rob weapons, ignore rumors
The Jammu and Kashmir Police on Saturday said that the terrorists did not take any weapon during an encounter in a two-day encounter in a remote wild area of Kathua district of Jammu and Kashmir. A police spokesman said that all the weapons and other items of the four policemen killed have been recovered.
The spokesperson said, “Some anti-national elements are spreading rumors of snatching the weapons of our martyrs in Operation Safian on social media. These claims are false. All the weapons and goods of the martyrs have been recovered.”
