The Karkardooma Court has granted regular bail to Tahir Hussain in the money laundering case related to the 2020 North East Delhi riots. He was arrested by the Enforcement Directorate (ED) on 6 March 2020. He has served half the sentence in the money laundering case.
Tahir Delhi will be detained on charges of conspiracy to riots. It is alleged that Tahir Hussain had funded CAA-NRC for protest and communal riots.
Additional Sessions Judge (ASJ) Sameer Bajpai granted regular bail to Tahir Hussain after considering the arguments of the accused and the Enforcement Directorate (ED) counsel. He has been granted bail on the condition of depositing two bailable bonds of 50000 and two bailable bonds of the same amount.

The Mumbai Police on Saturday issued an order that every landlord or owner or any house or property, hotels, lodges, guesthouse, passenger, etc. who have rented a residence, will have to immediately upload their details on the Mumbai Police Citizen Portal. If the tenant is foreigner, then his name, passport details etc. will have to be given. Failure to do so will be taken on the landlord.
