According to officials, a slab of the Gambhir-Mujpur bridge connecting Central Gujarat to Saurashtra of the state collapsed at around 7 am on Wednesday, causing vehicles passing through the bridge to fall into the river. Vadodara district Superintendent of Police Rohan Anand had earlier told that five of the nine people were injured and they were being treated at SSG (Sir Saijirao General) Hospital in Vadodara.
