Now French intelligence agencies have made a big disclosure about China’s fake news factory. China has started spreading rumors about the Rafale fighter aircraft in the clashes between India and Pakistan in May this year. According to a report by the Associated Press, French intelligence agencies found that Chinese defense attachments urged countries such as Indonesia to cancel or reconsider the purchase of Rafale, and promote Chinese -made options instead. According to the French intelligence report, the defense officials deployed in China’s embassies tried to convince other countries not to buy Rafale aircraft and replace it with a plane made in China. Especially, countries that have already bought Rafale such as Indonesia, tried to stop them from buying.

French Army and Intelligence Agencies believe that China used its embassies worldwide to tarnish the image of Rafale fighter jets made in France. Especially after the clashes between India and Pakistan in May, China started campaigning that Rafale aircraft could not perform well.
