Amidst the Central Government talks with Maetai and Cookie Groups of Manipur in Delhi, the RSS said on Monday that it was involved in bringing the two communities together and the solution to the ongoing ethnic conflict in the state would be “found”. RSS promotional in -charge Sunil Ambekar said that the Sangh has established a dialogue with both Mayetai and Cookie. At a press conference here after the conclusion of the Sangh’s province campaigner meeting held from Friday to Sunday, he said, “When the situation in an area deteriorates, they do not recover in a day. But compared to last year, (in Manipur) there is some peace. There is some peace. The kind of dialogue that is happening on both sides (partition), we believe that the solution will come out.”
Attempt to reduce stress in Manipur
The Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) said on Monday that its volunteers are trying to reduce tension in the state by promoting dialogue between Meeti and Cookie communities in Manipur, which is struggling with ethnic violence and is gradually returning to peace. Sunil Ambekar, head of the RSS National Publicity and Media Department, said at a press conference here that representatives involved in a three -day meeting of province campaigners in Delhi shared information about the current situation of Manipur and positive developments in the state.

Giving information about the findings of the meeting held on Sunday, Ambekar said, “People from all over the country came to attend the meeting. He also shared information about how (RSS) volunteers are trying to restore peace and harmony as soon as possible. “He said,” For this, they (RSS volunteers) are promoting dialogue between Meeti and Cookie communities and all people, so that there is a good environment between them. They are trying for this. ”
When the situation worsens, it does not improve in a day
Ambekar claimed that the situation in Manipur has improved compared to last year. He said, “Many positive things have been revealed from his (representatives) experience. (The situation will take some more time to be completely normal, but some positive news has been received through their (representatives attending the RSS meeting). “Asked about the opposition’s claim that the situation in the state is not normal, Ambekar said,” When the situation deteriorates, the situation does not improve in a day, but certainly if there is certainty, if there is a few years old, then the previous years have started to return to some extent.
He said, “The peace process has started. The conversation between the two sides will proceed. ”Ambekar later said in a statement that the Sangh volunteers are talking to both sides (Meeti and Cookie) to restore normal status in Manipur. He said, “Due to this, positive changes are being seen at the grassroots level.” In Manipur, more than 260 people have been killed and thousands of people have died in the ethnic violence between Meeti and Cookie-which have been released since May 2023 and thousands of people have become homeless.
The Center imposed President’s rule in Manipur after the resignation of the then Chief Minister N Biren Singh on 13 February. At the same time, the state assembly was suspended, whose term is till 2027. Karnataka minister Priyank Kharge’s alleged remarks that the Sangh would be banned if the Congress returned to power at the center, when asked about it, Ambekar said, “The Sangh was also banned earlier.” But they had to remove it … because it was not valid according to the (ban) law.
