BJP MP Nishikant Dubey on Monday launched a scathing attack on Maharashtra Nav Nirman Sena (MNS) chief Raj Thackeray and his cousin (UBT) President Uddhav Thackeray for recent violent attacks on Hindi -speaking people in Maharashtra and challenged them to go to Uttar Pradesh, Bihar or Tamil Nadu and try to do so. Referring to the attack against the North Indian people working in Maharashtra by the Thackeray brothers, Dubey said that you should come to Uttar Pradesh, Bihar or Tamil Nadu. People will beat you and kill you.

Talking to ANI, Nishikant Dubey said that you guys are living with our money. What kind of industries do you have? If you are so courageous and beat Hindi speakers, then you should also beat Urdu, Tamil and Telugu speakers. If you are such a big ‘boss’, come out of Maharashtra, come to Bihar, Uttar Pradesh, Tamil Nadu – ‘You will kill you’. He said that we all respect the people of Marathi and Maharashtra, who fought for the independence of India.

The BJP MP clearly stated that BMC elections are going to be held, and therefore, Raj and Uddhav are doing cheap politics. If they have courage – then they should go to Mahim and beating any Hindi or Urdu speaker in front of Mahim Dargah. In recent weeks, some videos surfaced and went viral on social media, showing MNS workers attacking North Indian laborers and vendors, when they expressed their inability to interact in Marathi, the native language of Maharashtra. The incidents of attacks against North Indians have occurred when the Devendra Fadnavis government withdrew a three-language policy in the state a week ago, after Raj and Uddhav Thackeray’s strong opposition, who called it “Hindi imposing”.
