PM Modi in Trinidad & Tobago: Addressed to the Indian community, said- We will soon join the top three economies in the world

To welcome Prime Minister Narendra Modi, 38 ministers and 4 MPs arrived at Piyarco International Airport in Port of Spain.

Prime Minister Modi also met Indian migrants at Piyarco International Airport. Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Thursday (local time) presented Trinidad and Prime Minister Kamla Prasad-Bissesar of Tobago to Sangam and Saryu river holy water and replica of Ram temple. Addressing the Indian community in Trinidad and Tobago on Thursday, Prime Minister Modi underlined the historical and cultural significance of Bihar, praised the courage of the Indian community and called Prime Minister Kamla Prasad-Bissar “daughter of Bihar”. He recalled his ancestral relations with the state and requested him to offer water to Saryu and Mahakumbh in the Ganges stream in the Caribbean nation.

Addressing the Indian community, Prime Minister Modi said, “I have come on this beautiful land some time ago, where the birds’ tweet keeps echoing. It seems absolutely natural, because we are part of the same family.। The Indian community’s visit to Trinidad and Tobago is full of courage. India has proved that we can defeat poverty by empowering the poor.The World Bank has noted that India has raised more than 250 million people above excessive poverty in the last decade. India’s growth is being run by our innovative and energetic youth. “
