Four government officials, including an assistant commissioner, were killed and 11 others were injured in the bomb blast on Wednesday in Pakistan’s disturbed Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province. Police gave this information.
The vehicle of Assistant Commissioner of Nawagai Tehsil Faisal Sultan was targeted in this blast near the fair ground in Khar tehsil in Bajaur, a tribal district bordering Afghanistan.
The other deceased has been identified as Assistant Sub -Inspector Noor Hakim, Tehsildar Advocate Khan and constable Rashid. The security forces have laid siege to the scene, the investigation and the attack is under investigation.
Barrister Saif, the information advisor to the Chief Minister of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, condemned the bomb blast, calling it a “very tragic incident”. He said in a press release, “The death of important people including Assistant Commissioner and Tehsildar is very sad.”
He said, “We will not allow anti -national elements to succeed in their nefarious plans.” Saif said that Chief Minister Ali Amin Gandapur has ordered a thorough inquiry into the incident and has directed the injured to provide immediate medical help.
