Indian bowler famous Krishna has taken responsibility while breaking silence on poor performance in the first Test against England. He said that he was trying to be restrained in his bowling all the time. Many former players criticized the famous Krishna after looting more than 200 in the first match of the series in Leeds. India lost this match by five wickets.
The famous Krishna told a press conference that, in the first innings of the Leeds Test, I bowled more than necessary. It was a little better in the second innings and the wicket was slightly slow.
He said that, I definitely did not bowl at the length I wanted to do. It took me some time to reconcile in the right length. However, I should be able to do so as a professional. I take full responsibility for this and maybe next time I can do it better.
The famous innings conceded 128 runs from an economy of 6.40 in 20 overs in the first innings, one of the worst figures by an Indian bowler who bowled at least 20 overs in an innings. During this time, he took the wickets of Oli Pope, Harry Brook and Jamie Smith.
