Diljit Dosanjh is constantly in trouble to release his film Sardar G3 abroad, including Pakistani actress Hania Aamir. The move was followed by online criticism and film organizations demanded a ban on Diljit. Now, the demand for removing Diljit from the upcoming war drama border 2 is gaining momentum. Reports and rumors of replacing Diljit Dosanjh in ‘Border 2’ are spreading on the Internet. According to a report by Hindustan Times, highly placed sources associated with the film have revealed that nothing like this has happened so far. The source said, “There is no plan to remove or change Diljit from Border 2. His casting was announced about nine months ago, before an unfortunate situation arises. About 40-50 percent of the film has already been shot, so it is not possible to make any changes at this time.”

Will Diljit replace Dosanjh in Amy Virk Border 2?
In recent reports, Amy Virk was mentioned as a possible replacement for the role of Diljit in the film. However, Amy’s team has reacted to the ongoing reports and dismissed them. A representative of Amy Virk’s team reacted to the claims in a conversation with Hindustan Times, saying, “These are just speculation. We have not received any call from anyone yet.”

No plans to replace or remove Diljit
The team also confirmed that there is no plan to replace or remove Diljit from ‘Border 2’. It said, “His casting was confirmed long before the recent unfortunate incidents. About half of the film has already been shot. The news of the removal of Diljit Dosanjh from Border 2. Earlier, a source associated with production told the Times of India that the names that were discussed internal to replace Diljit, have been involved in the only 3-4 scenes. The manufacturers are considering changing them, as the team is still directly handling the situation without any hassle.
The issue increased further when the Federation of Western India Cine Employees (FWICE) wrote a letter to lead actor Sunny Deol, urging him to rethink Diljit’s participation in a patriotic film. So far, the production team of ‘Border 2’ has not made any official statement about any change in the artists.
