According to the police, there was a loan of six lakh rupees on Pukhraj, due to which the family was upset due to the pressure of the luxers. District Magistrate (DM) Jasjit Kaur said that investigation is being conducted in the case.
Three people have died due to consuming poison of a debt -ridden family in Noorpur police station area of Bijnor district. The police gave this information on Friday. Superintendent of Police Abhishek said on Thursday that Pukhraj (46), his wife Rameshia (41), elder daughter Anita (19) and younger daughter Sunita (17) consumed some poison in Kandera village of Nurpur police station.
He said that Rameshia and Anita died, while Pukhraj and Sunita were sent to Meerut for treatment. The SP said on Friday that Sunita also died on Thursday night.
