In the meeting, extensive discussions were held with all the Police Commissioners, Divisional Commissioners, District Magistrates and Senior Police Superintendents across the state. The Chief Minister gave clear instructions that all religious events should be organized with reverence, security and social harmony and the administrative system should work with full sensitivity and vigilance.

Holy Shravan month will remain from 11 July to 9 August

 According to a statement, the Chief Minister said that from July 11 to August 9, there will be a holy month of Shravan, during which festivals like Kavad Yatra, Shravan Shivaratri, Nagpanchami and Rakshabandhan will be celebrated and in the same period, Jagannath Rath Yatra from 27 June to 8 July and Muharram from July 27 to July 6 to July is likely to be organized. The Chief Minister directed, “This period is extremely sensitive in terms of law and order, medical, cleanliness, education and disaster management of the state. Therefore, all concerned departments and district administration should work responsibly with coordination.

The Chief Minister gave special instructions regarding the peaceful and dignified event of the Kanwar Yatra

He said, “This journey is a symbol of faith, discipline and gaiety. Districts like Ghaziabad, Meerut, Bareilly, Ayodhya, Prayagraj, Kashi, Barabanki and Basti should be special vigilance. The interstate coordination should remain constant. “The Chief Minister said,” The sound of DJ, Dhol-Tasha and music on the journey route should be in line with the prescribed standards. Through the voice, inflammatory slogans, and the change of route beyond tradition will not be acceptable in any condition.

 The Chief Minister said, “A large number of devotees gather in the Kandar Yatra, in which there is a possibility of changing disguise and the involvement of chaotic elements.” In view of this, the Chief Minister instructed all the districts to be vigilant and said, “The local administration should maintain dialogue with the Kandar Sanghs at the police station, light and outpost and ensure prior review of all the arrangements.”

Respect for religious sentiments of devotees is paramount 

He reiterated that the honor of the religious sentiments of the devotees is paramount, but no mischievous element should get the opportunity. Giving priority to the convenience of the devotees, the Chief Minister directed, “There should be no sale of meat etc. in the open anywhere on the Kavad Yatra route. Proper arrangement of travel routes cleanliness, lights, drinking water, toilets and first aid should be ensured. The repair of shabby electric poles and hanging wires should be completed immediately. Camping institutions should be verified and publicized centers should be run with their cooperation. ”

Chief Minister also gave clear instructions for Muharram’s events 

The Chief Minister expressed concern over the complaints received regarding selling fertilizer at more than the fixed price and said that the concerned District Magistrate should conduct surprise inspections and take strict action against the culprits. For the events of Muharram, the Chief Minister gave clear instructions, “All arrangements should be ensured this year, taking lessons from accidents in the past years. The programs should be concluded peacefully on traditional routes by communicating with the peace committee and organizing committees. ”The Chief Minister also directed the administration not to wait for the order from the government for action, take prompt and lawful action.
