Rajasthan: BJP leaders described former Chief Minister Gehlot’s statement as baseless and irrational

The ruling Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leaders in Rajasthan termed the latest statement of senior Congress leader Ashok Gehlot about Chief Minister Bhajan Lal Sharma as baseless and irrational.

Gehlot said in Jodhpur on Wednesday that the conspiracy to remove Chief Minister Sharma is going on, which he is unable to understand. Party leader Rajendra Rathore retaliated at Gehlot’s statement and said in a post on ‘X’, “The statement made by former Chief Minister Gehlot about the BJP government in the state is baseless, irrational and misleading. Gehlot is probably getting the memories of his own tenure when his government was not able to fulfill even a year.”

He said, “Today, when the BJP government is engaged in public service, is accelerating the pace of development and is leading the state on the path of good governance, then Gehlot is baking political loaves by making unfounded allegations to keep cheap popularity and media headlines.”

Cabinet Minister Rajyavardhan Singh Rathore retaliated at Gehlot’s statement, saying, “The entire tenure whose entire tenure has gone out to cover and count his own MLAs in five -star hotels, he is questioning the stability today?”

Food and Civil Supplies Minister Sumit Godara said that former Chief Minister Gehlot counted and took out the days in his government. He said, “The people who do not leave the Chief Minister’s residence for 20 months in the Korona (Kovid-19) period are talking about our government’s instability. While Chief Minister Sharma is dedicated to the general public of Rajasthan and working day and night.”

Water Resources Minister Suresh Rawat said, “Chief Minister Sharma is leading Rajasthan towards all -round development, which is not digesting the Congress party and the Congress people try to divert public attention. Our government will continue to work with strength under the leadership of Chief Minister Bhajan Lal Sharma.
