Jinping said that on the basis of mutual confidence, China will remain a good neighbor, good friend and good partner of Bangladesh. This information has been given by the Chinese State Broadcaster CCTV.
At the same time, Yunus’s press secretary Shafiqul Alam said that the two together signed nine agreements. Among them, an agreement on economic and technical cooperation and eight were on Memorandum (MUS).
These agreements are associated with translation and publication of ancient texts, cultural heritage, news exchange, media, sports and cooperation in the fields.

Bangladesh will be able to sell in goods in Chinese market without paying tax
After the meeting, Yunus’s press secretary Shafiqul Alam said that it was full of warmth, mutual understanding and positivity. He told reporters that Jinping talked about strengthening economic relations with Bangladesh, opening factories of Chinese companies and giving Bangladeshi products a place in their market without any tax.
He said that many important topics including trade, investment, agriculture, infrastructure, renewable energy and Rohingya issues were discussed in the meeting between the two leaders. During the meeting, China promised that by 2028 Bangladeshi goods could be sold in the Chinese market without tax and quota.
Yunus has gone on a four -day visit to China
Yunus has visited a four -day China visit on Wednesday. Arriving here, he participated in the Boao Forum in China under the Asia Annual Conference in Hent. He then reached Beijing on Thursday, where he was welcomed by Chinese Deputy Foreign Minister Sun Vedong at the airport.

Yunus appealed to China to reduce interest rate on loan
Prior to the meeting with Jinping, Yunus appealed to China on Thursday to reduce the interest rate from 3% to 1-2% on the V Chinese loan and remove the commitment fees from the projects being funded by China.
Actually, China is at number four in lending to Bangladesh. The first is Japan, World Bank at number two and Asian Development Bank at number three. According to the Bangladeshi newspaper, a total of $ 7.5 billion loans have been given in total since 1975.
China can become a buyer of mango and jackfruit of Bangladesh
Xi Jinping said that he had arrived in Bangladesh twice and when he was the Governor of Fujian province, he understood micro credit (small debt scheme). He also told that he has eaten mangoes and jackfruit of Bangladesh and he felt very tasty. In the coming months, there may be great export of these fruits in China.
